  • 1 cup apple cider
  • 1 cup unsalted butter, softened
  • 1 cup granulated sugar
  • 2 cups all-purpose flour
  • 1 teaspoon baking soda
  • 1 teaspoon cinnamon
  • 1/2 teaspoon nutmeg
  • 1/2 teaspoon salt
  • 1 egg

Instructions

  1. Preheat the oven to 350°F (175°C).
  2. In a saucepan, bring apple cider to a boil and reduce until it is syrupy.
  3. In a bowl, cream together the butter and sugar.
  4. Add the egg and reduced apple cider to the creamed mixture.
  5. In another bowl, whisk together flour, baking soda, cinnamon, nutmeg, and salt.
  6. Gradually add the dry ingredients to the wet mixture, stirring until combined.
  7. Drop by spoonfuls onto a baking sheet.
  8. Bake for 10-12 minutes, until golden.
  9. Let cool on a wire rack before serving.

Notes
