12 lasagna noodles
1 pound ground turkey
6 slices turkey bacon
2 cups marinara sauce
2 cups shredded mozzarella cheese
1 cup ricotta cheese
1 tablespoon Italian seasoning
1 teaspoon garlic powder
1/2 teaspoon salt
1/4 teaspoon black pepper
1/2 cup chopped onions
1/2 cup chopped bell peppers
Instructions
Preheat the oven to 375°F (190°C).
Cook the lasagna noodles according to the package instructions; drain and set aside.
In a skillet, cook the turkey and turkey bacon over medium heat until browned.
Add the onions, bell peppers, garlic powder, Italian seasoning, salt, and pepper to the skillet, cooking until the vegetables are softened.
Spread a layer of marinara sauce on the bottom of a baking dish.
Layer the noodles, turkey mixture, ricotta, and mozzarella cheese, repeating until all ingredients are used.
Finish with a layer of marinara sauce and mozzarella on top.
Cover the dish with foil and bake for 25 minutes, then remove the foil and bake for an additional 15 minutes until bubbly.
Let cool for 10 minutes before serving.
Notes
For extra flavor, add your favorite burger toppings as layers.
You can substitute ground beef for a different taste.
