Cheesy Hamburger Rice Casserole

A delightful and easy-to-make casserole that combines cheesy goodness with hearty hamburger and rice.

  • 1 pound ground beef
  • 1 cup uncooked rice
  • 2 cups beef broth
  • 1 cup shredded cheddar cheese
  • 1 can diced tomatoes
  • 1 small onion, chopped
  • 1 teaspoon garlic powder
  • 1 teaspoon paprika
  • 1/2 teaspoon salt
  • 1/4 teaspoon black pepper

Instructions

  1. Preheat oven to 350°F (175°C).
  2. In a skillet, brown the ground beef with chopped onion until fully cooked.
  3. Add garlic powder, paprika, salt, and pepper to the meat mixture.
  4. In a large bowl, combine the cooked beef mixture, rice, beef broth, diced tomatoes, and half of the cheese.
  5. Transfer the mixture to a baking dish and top with the remaining cheese.
  6. Bake for 25-30 minutes until the cheese is bubbly and golden.

  • For added flavor, consider mixing in some bell peppers or spices.
