A delightful twist on the classic Chicken Marsala recipe featuring turkey bacon for added flavor.

  • 4 chicken breasts
  • 6 slices turkey bacon
  • 1 cup Marsala wine
  • 1 cup mushrooms, sliced
  • 2 tablespoons olive oil
  • 2 cloves garlic, minced
  • 1/4 cup chicken broth
  • Salt to taste
  • Pepper to taste

Instructions

  1. Cook the turkey bacon in a skillet until crispy. Remove and set aside.
  2. In the same skillet, add olive oil and garlic, and sauté until fragrant.
  3. Add the chicken breasts, season with salt and pepper, and cook until browned on both sides.
  4. Pour in the Marsala wine and chicken broth, then bring to a simmer.
  5. Add the mushrooms and turkey bacon back to the skillet, and cook until the chicken is fully cooked through.
  6. Serve hot, garnished with fresh herbs if desired.

Notes

  • For extra flavor, let the chicken marinate in the Marsala wine for an hour before cooking.
  • Serve with a side of pasta or sautéed vegetables.
