  • 1 cup all-purpose flour
  • 1/2 cup chocolate chips
  • 1/4 cup sugar
  • 1 teaspoon baking powder
  • 1 teaspoon baking soda
  • 1/2 teaspoon salt
  • 1 teaspoon cinnamon
  • 1/2 teaspoon nutmeg
  • 1 cup milk
  • 1 egg
  • 2 tablespoons melted butter

Instructions

  1. In a large bowl, combine pumpkin puree, milk, egg, and melted butter.
  2. In another bowl, mix together the flour, sugar, baking powder, baking soda, salt, cinnamon, and nutmeg.
  3. Gradually add the dry ingredients to the wet ingredients, stirring until just combined. Fold in chocolate chips.
  4. Heat a non-stick skillet over medium heat and lightly grease it.
  5. Pour 1/4 cup of batter onto the skillet and cook until bubbles form, then flip and cook until golden brown.
  6. Repeat with the remaining batter.
  7. Serve warm with maple syrup or your favorite toppings.

Notes

  • For extra flavor, add a pinch of vanilla extract.
