Instructions

  1. Preheat the oven to 350°F (175°C).
  2. Peel and slice the Yukon Gold potatoes into thin rounds.
  3. In a skillet, cook the turkey bacon until crispy, then chop into pieces.
  4. In a large bowl, combine the sliced potatoes, heavy cream, cheddar cheese, green onions, cooked turkey bacon, butter, salt, and black pepper.
  5. Transfer the mixture to a greased baking dish.
  6. Bake in the preheated oven for 45-50 minutes, or until the potatoes are tender and the top is golden brown.
  7. Let cool for a few minutes before serving.

  • For a healthier option, substitute half and half for the heavy cream.
