A delicious take on the classic patty melt featuring turkey bacon for a unique flavor.

Ingredients

  • 1 pound ground turkey
  • 4 slices turkey bacon
  • 4 slices rye bread
  • 1 cup shredded cheddar cheese
  • 1 large onion, sliced
  • 2 tablespoons butter
  • Salt to taste
  • Pepper to taste

Instructions

  1. Cook the turkey bacon until crispy and set aside.
  2. In the same pan, sauté the onions until golden brown.
  3. Cook the ground turkey, seasoning with salt and pepper, until fully cooked.
  4. Assemble the sandwich with bread, turkey, bacon, onions, and cheese.
