Ingredients

  • 1 pound ground beef
  • 4 slices turkey bacon
  • 4 slices Swiss cheese
  • 4 slices of rye bread
  • 1 onion, thinly sliced
  • 2 tablespoons butter
  • Salt to taste
  • Pepper to taste

Instructions

  1. Cook the turkey bacon in a skillet until crispy.
  2. Sauté the onions in the same skillet until they are caramelized.
  3. Form the ground beef into patties and season with salt and pepper.
  4. Cook the patties in the skillet until they reach the desired doneness.
  5. On each slice of rye bread, layer a patty, turkey bacon, caramelized onions, and Swiss cheese.
