Country Ranch Green Beans and Potatoes

A delicious and wholesome dish featuring green beans and potatoes, enhanced with savory turkey bacon for a flavorful twist.

  • 1 pound fresh green beans
  • 2 cups diced potatoes
  • 4 slices turkey bacon
  • 1 tablespoon olive oil
  • 1 teaspoon garlic powder
  • 1 teaspoon onion powder
  • Salt to taste
  • Pepper to taste

Instructions

  1. In a large pot, bring water to a boil and add the diced potatoes. Cook until tender, about 10 minutes.
  2. Add the green beans to the pot and cook for another 5 minutes, until bright green and tender.
  3. Meanwhile, in a skillet, cook the turkey bacon over medium heat until crispy. Remove and crumble into pieces.
  4. Drain the vegetables and return them to the pot.
  5. Add olive oil, garlic powder, onion powder, salt, and pepper. Toss to combine.
  6. Top with crumbled turkey bacon and serve hot.

Notes

  • For extra flavor, consider adding some parmesan cheese on top before serving.
