Creamy Cajun Chicken Pasta

  • 8 ounces fettuccine
  • 1 tablespoon olive oil
  • 1 pound chicken breast, diced
  • 4 slices turkey bacon, chopped
  • 1 small onion, diced
  • 3 cloves garlic, minced
  • 1 tablespoon Cajun seasoning
  • 1 cup heavy cream
  • 1 cup grated Parmesan cheese
  • Salt to taste
  • Black pepper to taste
  • 2 tablespoons fresh parsley, chopped

Instructions

  1. Cook the fettuccine according to package instructions. Drain and set aside.
  2. In a large skillet, heat olive oil over medium heat. Add the chicken and cook until browned.
  3. Add the turkey bacon, onion, and garlic, and sauté until the onion is translucent.
  4. Stir in Cajun seasoning and cook for another minute.
  5. Pour in the heavy cream and bring to a simmer.
  6. Add the Parmesan cheese, stirring until melted and the sauce is creamy.
  7. Toss the cooked fettuccine with the sauce. Season with salt and black pepper.
  8. Garnish with fresh parsley before serving.

Notes

  • For extra spice, add more Cajun seasoning or hot sauce to taste.
  • Leftovers can be reheated on the stove with a splash of cream to loosen the sauce.
