Creamy Chicken Parmesan Pasta Soup

Comfort food doesn’t get better than this creamy chicken parmesan pasta soup!

Ingredients

  • 1 tablespoon olive oil
  • 1 pound chicken breast, diced
  • 1 cup onions, chopped
  • 2 cloves garlic, minced
  • 4 cups chicken broth
  • 1 cup heavy cream
  • 1 teaspoon Italian seasoning
  • 8 ounces pasta (penne or rotini)
  • 1 cup parmesan cheese, grated
  • Salt and pepper to taste

Instructions

  1. In a large pot, heat olive oil over medium heat.
  2. Add diced chicken and cook until no longer pink.
  3. Add onions and garlic, sauté until translucent.
  4. Pour in chicken broth and bring to a boil.
  5. Stir in heavy cream and Italian seasoning.
  6. Add pasta and simmer until cooked al dente.
  7. Stir in parmesan cheese and season with salt and pepper.
  8. Serve hot and enjoy!

Notes

  • For added flavor, top with more parmesan cheese and fresh parsley.
