Creamy Corn Chowder

A delicious and creamy corn chowder loaded with turkey bacon and chicken ham, perfect for a comforting meal.

Ingredients

  • 4 cups fresh corn kernels
  • 1 cup diced turkey bacon
  • 1 cup diced chicken ham
  • 1 medium onion, chopped
  • 2 cloves garlic, minced
  • 4 cups chicken broth
  • 2 cups heavy cream
  • 1 teaspoon paprika
  • Salt to taste
  • Black pepper to taste

Instructions

  1. In a large pot, cook the turkey bacon until crispy. Remove and set aside.
  2. In the same pot, add the onions and garlic, cooking until soft.
  3. Add the chicken ham and cook for an additional 2 minutes.
  4. Stir in the corn kernels and cook for 5 minutes.
  5. Pour in the chicken broth and bring to a boil.
  6. Reduce heat and add the heavy cream, paprika, salt, and pepper. Simmer for 15 minutes.
  7. Garnish with the crispy turkey bacon before serving.

Notes

  • This chowder can be made a day in advance. The flavors will improve as it sits.
  • Feel free to add other vegetables like potatoes or bell peppers for extra flavor.
