Creamy Tuscan Shrimp Linguine

A rich and creamy shrimp linguine dish with an indulgent twist of turkey bacon that is sure to please any palate.

Ingredients

  • 8 ounces linguine
  • 1 pound shrimp, peeled and deveined
  • 4 slices turkey bacon, chopped
  • 3 cloves garlic, minced
  • 1 cup heavy cream
  • 1 cup spinach, fresh
  • 1/2 cup sun-dried tomatoes, chopped
  • 1/2 teaspoon red pepper flakes
  • 1 teaspoon Italian seasoning
  • Salt to taste
  • Black pepper to taste
  • 1/4 cup Parmesan cheese, grated

Instructions

  1. Cook the linguine according to package instructions; drain and set aside.
  2. In a skillet, cook the turkey bacon until crispy; remove and set aside.
  3. Add the shrimp to the same skillet and cook until pink and cooked through; remove and set aside.
  4. Add garlic, sun-dried tomatoes, and spinach to the skillet and sauté until the spinach wilts.
  5. Stir in heavy cream, red pepper flakes, Italian seasoning, salt, and black pepper; simmer until slightly thickened.
  6. Add the pasta, shrimp, and turkey bacon back into the skillet; toss to combine.
  7. Stir in Parmesan cheese until melted; serve hot.

Notes

  • Adjust the level of spice by adding more or less red pepper flakes based on preference.
  • Feel free to substitute shrimp with chicken or other proteins if desired.
