  • 1 teaspoon cumin
  • 1 teaspoon garlic powder
  • 1 teaspoon onion powder
  • 2 cups beef broth
  • 1 bay leaf
  • 8 corn tortillas
  • 1 cup chopped onion
  • 1 cup chopped cilantro
  • lime wedges for serving

Instructions

  1. In a large pot, combine the beef, chili powder, cumin, garlic powder, onion powder, beef broth, and bay leaf.
  2. Bring to a boil, then reduce heat and let simmer for 2-3 hours until the beef is tender.
  3. Remove the beef, shred it with two forks, and return it to the pot to soak in the broth.
  4. Heat a skillet over medium heat and warm the corn tortillas.
