- 1 pound orzo pasta
- 2 cups shredded rotisserie chicken
- 1 cup turkey bacon, cooked and chopped
- 2 cups French onion soup
- 1 cup grated Gruyère cheese
- 1 cup chopped onions
- 2 cloves garlic, minced
- 1 tablespoon olive oil
- 1 teaspoon thyme
- 1 teaspoon black pepper
- Preheat the oven to 350°F (175°C).
- In a large skillet, heat olive oil over medium heat. Add chopped onions and cook until softened.
- Stir in minced garlic and thyme, cooking for an additional minute.
- In a large mixing bowl, combine cooked orzo, chicken, turkey bacon, French onion soup, and the onion mixture. Mix well.
- Transfer the mixture to a greased casserole dish and top with Gruyère cheese.
- Bake in the preheated oven for 25-30 minutes, or until the cheese is bubbly and golden.
- Let it cool slightly before serving.
