  • 1 cup beef broth
  • 1 cup French onion soup
  • 4 cloves garlic, minced
  • 2 tablespoons Worcestershire sauce

  • 1 teaspoon dried thyme
  • 1 teaspoon black pepper
  • 1 teaspoon salt

Instructions

  1. Preheat the oven to 325°F (163°C).
  2. Heat olive oil in a large Dutch oven over medium-high heat.
  3. Season the roast with salt and pepper, then brown it in the hot oil on all sides.
  4. Remove the roast and set aside. Add onions and garlic to the pot, sautéing until soft.
