Discover a healthier version of your favorite Hamburger Helper with turkey bacon and chicken ham.

Ingredients

  • 1 pound ground turkey
  • 4 slices turkey bacon
  • 1 cup chicken ham, diced
  • 2 cups whole wheat pasta
  • 4 cups low-sodium chicken broth
  • 1 cup peas
  • 1 teaspoon garlic powder
  • 1 teaspoon onion powder
  • 1 teaspoon Italian seasoning
  • Salt and pepper to taste

Instructions

  1. In a large skillet, cook turkey bacon over medium heat until crispy. Remove and set aside.
  2. In the same skillet, add ground turkey and cook until browned.
  3. Add diced chicken ham, broth, and pasta to the skillet. Bring to a boil.
  4. Reduce heat and simmer until pasta is cooked, about 10 minutes.
  5. Add peas and season with garlic powder, onion powder, Italian seasoning, salt, and pepper. Stir to combine.
  6. Crumble cooked turkey bacon on top before serving.

Notes

  • For added creaminess, stir in a splash of milk at the end.
  • Use gluten-free pasta for a gluten-free option.
