1 teaspoon ground cinnamon
1/2 cup unsalted butter, melted
1 cup milk
2 large eggs
1 tablespoon vanilla extract
1/2 cup brown sugar, packed
1 tablespoon ground cinnamon
1/2 cup cream cheese, softened
1 cup powdered sugar
2 tablespoons milk
Instructions
Preheat the oven to 350°F (175°C) and line a muffin tin with paper liners.
In a large bowl, whisk together flour, sugar, baking powder, salt, and cinnamon.
In another bowl, mix melted butter, milk, eggs, and vanilla extract until well combined.
Pour the wet ingredients into the dry ingredients and stir until just combined.
In a small bowl, combine brown sugar and cinnamon for the filling.
Fill each muffin liner halfway with batter, sprinkle with the cinnamon-sugar mixture, then top with more batter.
Bake for 18-20 minutes, or until a toothpick comes out clean.
While muffins are cooling, prepare the cream cheese glaze by mixing cream cheese, powdered sugar, and milk until smooth.
