  • 4 cups all-purpose flour
  • 1 packet active dry yeast
  • 1 teaspoon salt
  • 1 teaspoon sugar
  • 1 tablespoon Italian seasoning
  • 1 cup warm water
  • 1 cup shredded mozzarella cheese
  • 1/2 cup grated Parmesan cheese

Instructions

  1. In a large bowl, mix the warm water, yeast, and sugar; let it sit until frothy.
  2. Add flour, salt, and Italian seasoning to the yeast mixture and stir until combined.
  3. Knead the dough on a floured surface for about 10 minutes until smooth.
  4. Incorporate the mozzarella and Parmesan cheese into the dough.
  5. Place the dough in a greased bowl, cover it, and let it rise until doubled in size, about 1 hour.
  6. Preheat the oven to 375°F (190°C).
  7. Punch down the dough, shape it into a loaf, and place it in a greased loaf pan.
  8. Let it rise again for about 30 minutes.
  9. Bake for 25-30 minutes, or until golden brown.
  10. Cool in the pan for 10 minutes before transferring to a wire rack.

Notes

  • For an extra cheesy flavor, sprinkle more cheese on top before baking.
  • Serve warm for the best taste.
