  • 2 large eggs

  • 1/2 teaspoon salt
  • 1 cup boiling water

Instructions

  1. Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C).
  2. Grease and flour a 9-inch round cake pan.
  3. In a large bowl, combine flour, sugar, cocoa, baking powder, baking soda, and salt.
  4. Add eggs, oil, and vanilla to the dry ingredients and mix well.
  5. Slowly add boiling water to the batter and mix until smooth.
  6. Pour the batter into the prepared pan.
  7. Bake for 30-35 minutes or until a toothpick inserted comes out clean.
  8. Let cool in the pan for 10 minutes before transferring to a wire rack.
