  • 1 pound ground beef
  • 1/2 cup breadcrumbs
  • 1/4 cup green onions, chopped
  • 1 egg
  • 2 cloves garlic, minced
  • 1 teaspoon soy sauce
  • 1/2 teaspoon black pepper
  • 1/4 teaspoon salt
  • 1/4 cup brown sugar
  • 1/2 cup soy sauce
  • 1 teaspoon sesame oil
  • 1/4 cup water

Instructions

  1. Preheat your oven to 400°F (200°C).
  2. In a large bowl, mix together ground beef, breadcrumbs, green onions, egg, garlic, soy sauce, black pepper, and salt until well combined.
  3. Form the mixture into meatballs and place them on a baking sheet.
  4. Bake in the preheated oven for 20 minutes.
  5. In a saucepan, combine brown sugar, soy sauce, sesame oil, and water. Bring to a boil.
  6. Once meatballs are done, add them to the saucepan and simmer for 5 minutes.
  7. Serve hot over rice or noodles.

Notes

  • For extra flavor, let the sauce simmer longer.
