Instructions

  1. Preheat the oven to 350°F (175°C) and grease a 9×13 inch baking pan.
  2. In a bowl, whisk together the flour, baking powder, baking soda, cinnamon, nutmeg, and salt.
  3. In another bowl, cream together the granulated sugar, brown sugar, and melted butter. Add the pumpkin, eggs, and vanilla, mixing until well combined.
  4. Gradually add the dry ingredients to the wet ingredients, stirring until just combined. If desired, fold in chopped walnuts.
  5. Pour the batter into the prepared baking pan and spread evenly.
