- 1 pound ground turkey
- 4 slices turkey bacon
- 1/2 cup breadcrumbs
- 1/4 cup finely chopped onion
- 1 egg
- 1 teaspoon Worcestershire sauce
- 1 teaspoon garlic powder
- 1/2 teaspoon salt
- 1/4 teaspoon black pepper
- 2 cups beef broth
- 1 tablespoon cornstarch
- 2 tablespoons water
- In a bowl, combine ground turkey, chopped turkey bacon, breadcrumbs, onion, egg, Worcestershire sauce, garlic powder, salt, and pepper. Mix well.
- Form the mixture into patties.
- In a skillet, cook the patties over medium heat until browned on both sides.
- Remove the patties and set aside. In the same skillet, add beef broth and bring to a simmer.
- Combine cornstarch and water to create a slurry. Stir it into the broth and let it thicken.
- Return the patties to the skillet and cook for an additional 5 minutes.
Notes
- For added flavor, consider incorporating mushrooms into the gravy.
- These patties can also be grilled for a different twist.
