  • 1 cup grated Gruyère cheese
  • 1 large apple, diced
  • 2 teaspoons fresh sage, chopped
  • 1 package puff pastry
  • 1 egg, beaten (for egg wash)

Instructions

  1. Preheat the oven to 400°F (200°C).
  2. In a bowl, mix the sausage, Gruyère, apple, and sage until well combined.
  3. Roll out the puff pastry and spread the sausage mixture evenly over it.
  4. Carefully roll the pastry into a log and slice into pinwheels.
  5. Place the pinwheels onto a baking sheet and brush with the beaten egg.
  6. Bake for 20-25 minutes until golden brown.
  7. Serve warm and enjoy!
