  • 1 cup Gruyère cheese, shredded
  • 1 tablespoon olive oil
  • 1 teaspoon garlic, minced
  • 1 egg, beaten (for egg wash)

  • Pepper to taste

Instructions

  1. Preheat the oven to 400°F (200°C).
  2. In a skillet, heat olive oil over medium heat and sauté garlic until fragrant.
  3. Add mushrooms, salt, and pepper; cook until mushrooms are tender and moisture has evaporated.
  4. Roll out puff pastry on a baking sheet; cut slits along the edges for braiding.
  5. Spread the mushroom mixture down the center and top with Gruyère cheese.
  6. Braid the pastry over the filling and brush with egg wash.
  7. Bake for 25-30 minutes or until golden brown.
