Scalloped Potatoes

A creamy and delicious side dish combining scalloped potatoes with turkey bacon and chicken ham.

Ingredients

  • 2 pounds potatoes
  • 1 cup heavy cream
  • 1 cup shredded cheese
  • 4 slices turkey bacon
  • 1 cup chicken ham
  • 1 onion, chopped
  • 2 cloves garlic, minced
  • 1 teaspoon salt
  • 1/2 teaspoon black pepper
  • 1 tablespoon butter

Instructions

  1. Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C).
  2. In a pan, cook the turkey bacon until crispy, then chop and set aside.
  3. In the same pan, sauté the onion and garlic in butter until translucent.
  4. Layer half of the sliced potatoes in a baking dish.
  5. Spread half of the cheese, sautéed onion and garlic, turkey bacon, and chicken ham over the potatoes.
  6. Add the remaining potato slices, followed by the remainder of the toppings.
  7. Pour the heavy cream over the top and season with salt and pepper.
  8. Cover with foil and bake for 45 minutes. Remove the foil and bake for an additional 15 minutes until golden and bubbly.

Notes

  • Allow to cool for a few minutes before serving.
  • For extra flavor, you can add herbs such as thyme or rosemary.
