  • 1 pound pizza dough
  • 2 cups sauerkraut, drained
  • 1 cup cheddar cheese, shredded
  • 1 cup mozzarella cheese, shredded
  • 1 teaspoon smoked paprika
  • 1 teaspoon chili powder
  • 1 tablespoon olive oil
  • 1 onion, sliced
  • 2 cloves garlic, minced
  • 1 tablespoon fresh dill, chopped
  • 1/2 teaspoon salt
  • 1/4 teaspoon black pepper

Instructions

  1. Preheat the oven to 475°F (245°C).
  2. Roll out the pizza dough on a floured surface into a round shape.
  3. Heat olive oil in a pan and sauté sliced onions and garlic until golden brown.
  4. Add sauerkraut, smoked paprika, chili powder, salt, and black pepper to the pan. Mix well and cook for 5 minutes.
  5. Spread the sauerkraut mixture evenly over the rolled-out pizza dough.
  6. Sprinkle shredded cheddar and mozzarella cheese over the top.
  7. Bake in the preheated oven for 15-20 minutes, or until the crust is golden and the cheese is bubbly.
  8. Remove from the oven, sprinkle fresh dill on top, and serve hot.

Notes

  • For a spicier version, add crushed red pepper flakes.
