- 2 cups crushed pretzels
- 1/2 cup unsalted butter, melted
- 1/4 cup granulated sugar
- 1 cup cream cheese, softened
- 1 cup powdered sugar
- 1 cup whipped topping
- 2 cups strawberry slices
- 2 cups strawberry gelatin
- 2 cups boiling water
- Mix the crushed pretzels with melted butter and granulated sugar. Press into the bottom of a 9×13 inch pan and bake at 400°F for 7 minutes.
- In a bowl, beat the cream cheese and powdered sugar until smooth. Fold in the whipped topping and spread over the cooled pretzel crust.
- In another bowl, dissolve the strawberry gelatin in boiling water. Stir in the sliced strawberries and let it cool slightly.
- Pour the strawberry mixture over the cream cheese layer and refrigerate until set, about 3-4 hours.
Notes
- For a thicker bottom layer, increase the amount of pretzels and butter.
- Feel free to use mixed berries instead of just strawberries for variety.
