  • 1 1/2 cups crushed pretzels
  • 1/2 cup granulated sugar
  • 3/4 cup butter, melted
  • 8 oz cream cheese, softened
  • 1 cup powdered sugar
  • 1 cup whipped topping
  • 2 cups fresh strawberries, sliced
  • 1 cup strawberry gelatin
  • 2 cups boiling water
  • 1 cup cold water

Instructions

  1. Preheat the oven to 350°F (175°C).
  2. Mix the crushed pretzels, granulated sugar, and melted butter in a bowl until combined.
  3. Press the mixture into the bottom of a 9×13 inch pan and bake for 10 minutes.
  4. In a large bowl, beat the cream cheese and powdered sugar until smooth. Fold in the whipped topping.
  5. Spread the cream cheese mixture over the cooled pretzel crust.
  6. In another bowl, dissolve the strawberry gelatin in boiling water, then add cold water. Stir in the sliced strawberries.
  7. Pour the strawberry mixture over the cream cheese layer.
  8. Chill in the refrigerator for at least 4 hours before serving.
