Ultra Thick Bakery Style Chocolate Chip Cookies

These ultra thick bakery style chocolate chip cookies are a decadent treat that you will absolutely love. Perfectly soft and chewy, they are packed with chocolate chips that melt in your mouth!

Ingredients

  • 2 1/4 cups all-purpose flour
  • 1 teaspoon baking soda
  • 1 teaspoon salt
  • 1 cup unsalted butter, softened
  • 3/4 cup granulated sugar
  • 3/4 cup brown sugar, packed
  • 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
  • 2 large eggs
  • 2 cups semi-sweet chocolate chips

Instructions

  1. Preheat the oven to 350°F (175°C).
  2. In a bowl, whisk together the flour, baking soda, and salt.
  3. In a separate bowl, cream the butter and sugars until light and fluffy.
  4. Add the eggs and vanilla extract; mix until well combined.
  5. Gradually add the dry ingredients and mix until just combined.
  6. Fold in the chocolate chips.
  7. Drop dough by the rounded tablespoon onto baking sheets lined with parchment paper.
  8. Bake for 10-12 minutes or until edges are golden.
  9. Allow cookies to cool on the baking sheet for a few minutes before transferring them to a wire rack to cool completely.
