Instructions

  1. Preheat the oven to 425°F (220°C).
  2. In a large bowl, toss apple slices with sugar, flour, cinnamon, nutmeg, and lemon juice.
  3. Pour the apple mixture into the pie crust.
  4. In another bowl, combine brown sugar, flour, butter, and oats; mix until crumbly.
  5. Sprinkle crumb topping over the apple filling.
  6. Bake for 15 minutes in the preheated oven, then reduce the temperature to 350°F (175°C) and bake for an additional 30-35 minutes.
