  • 1/2 cup unsalted butter, melted
  • 1 cup sugar
  • 1 large egg
  • 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
  • 1 teaspoon baking soda
  • 1/4 teaspoon salt
  • 1 1/2 cups all-purpose flour
  • 2 tablespoons ground cinnamon

Instructions

  1. Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C) and grease a 9x5 inch loaf pan.
  2. In a large bowl, mash the bananas with a fork until smooth.
  3. Stir in melted butter and mix well.
  4. Add sugar, egg, and vanilla extract, mixing until combined.
  5. Sprinkle the baking soda and salt over the mixture, and mix in.
  6. Gradually add the flour, mixing until just combined.
  7. In a small bowl, combine cinnamon and sugar for the swirl.
  8. Pour half of the batter into the prepared loaf pan, sprinkle with half of the cinnamon sugar mixture, then add the remaining batter on top.
  9. Swirl the top with a knife to create a marbled effect.
  10. Bake for 60-70 minutes or until a toothpick inserted in the center comes out clean.
  11. Allow to cool before slicing.
